Still Supporting ¡HICA! in Alabama

I saw someone on the social media say that they didn’t realize they’d been holding their breath all day. I didn’t realize I’d been either. There is still so much work to be done, Alabama’s challenges don’t just disappear overnight. Reposting about ¡HICA! doing absolutely critical work to help immigrant populations in the state. Please join me in making a donation today.

Red State: Alabama
Focus: Hispanic and Latino immigrants and families

Why?

Without googling “restrictive laws Alabama” I recalled hearing of the horrors of 2011’s HB56. As the new regime comes to power, supporting states who go after immigrants, local groups like this will not only need to continue the fight, but also provide support services for affected communities.
